why I do this
I grew up without many photographs. Looking back, I realized how much that absence mattered — not having proof that moments existed, that people loved each other, that I was there.
Now I understand: photographs are how we hold onto time.
Your wedding will pass faster than you expect. The moments you planned for, the people you gathered, the feeling of being fully present with someone you love — it all moves quickly.
And when it's over, what remains are the memories you hold onto, and the photographs that bring you back.
That's why I do this.
WHAT COUPLES EXPERIENCE
-
I. The Beginning
From the moment you reach out, everything starts with a conversation.
We connect to understand what matters most to you — not just the wedding logistics, but the actual feeling you want to remember. What does this day mean? Where do you want to be? Who do you want there?
No pressure. Just clarity and genuine connection.
-
II. Planning Together
Once your date is reserved, you're never alone in the details.
We talk through location, timing, and what you're envisioning. I offer thoughts based on what I know about how you love each other. We build a timeline that feels intentional. We figure out logistics, permits if needed, and the practical pieces that make the day flow.
You have my full presence throughout this process. Not a checklist to hand you — real partnership.
-
III. Your Wedding Day
We move intuitively, knowing when to step in and when to step back.
I photograph the moments that are already happening. The exhale before the vows. The way you look at each other when you think no one's watching. The light. The feeling. The real.
You'll be fully present in your own day because I'm fully present with you — not performing, not checking off shots, just witnessing what's already true.
-
IV. Gallery Delivery
Your story, preserved with care.
You'll receive your photographs in a private, secure space. Curated and edited to bring you back to how it felt, not just how it looked.
When you open that gallery, you'll relive it.
Types of Work
(that I do best)
-
Starting at $4,000
It's just you. Or the people who matter most. No production, no performance.
You choose the place. I show up fully present, moving with the light and witnessing the real moments — the exhale before the vows, the hand that reaches without thinking, the way you actually love each other when no one's watching.
I'm not here to direct you. I'm here to see you. To make sure none of it disappears.
-
Starting at $6,000
From the quiet moments before getting ready through the last light of the evening, I'm there. Not to check off a shot list. Not to pose you on command.
I move through your day witnessing the real arc of it — the nervous energy, the vows, the exhale, the celebration, the way people actually love you. I catch the glances between you and your person. The moment your mom realizes what's happening. The light as it shifts and changes everything.
I'm present for all of it because your day deserves to be fully lived, not performed. You won't feel a camera in your face. You'll feel held. You'll feel seen. And when you look at these images later, you'll remember exactly how it felt to be there.
-
Starting at $1,800
Before the wedding. Or any time you want to be photographed together without the pressure of an event unfolding around you.
We'll find a place that feels like yours — mountains, coast, somewhere quiet that makes sense for who you are. And then it's just you, me, and the light. No timeline to hit. No guest list watching. Just the two of you being together exactly as you are.
I move around you, catching the real moments. The way you hold hands. The glance that says everything. The feeling of being fully present with someone.
By the end, you'll have images that prove what it feels like to be loved by this person.

Yes. Some couples want an engagement session before the wedding. Some want to stretch their elopement across two days, waking up in the mountains and moving through the landscape slowly. Some want a day of getting ready together, then the ceremony, then a couples session in the golden light.
Whatever your story needs, we build it together. The point isn't to fill time — it's to create space for the moments that matter most.
-
I'm not a planner. I'm a photographer. What I do offer is partnership on the creative side — we'll talk through your vision for the day, what the landscape offers, how the light will move, what timeline actually serves the moments you want to capture. I'll recommend locations. I'll connect you with vendors I trust. I'll help you think through logistics so the day flows without feeling rushed or chaotic.
But the details — the rentals, the catering, the flowers, the coordination — that's not my expertise. I show up fully present for your day. That's where my energy goes.
-
You fill out an inquiry form and tell me about your vision. We'll have a conversation — either over email or a phone call — where I get to know what matters to you, and you get a sense of whether we're a fit.
From there, I'll send a custom quote based on your specific needs. No surprises, no hidden fees. If it feels right, you'll sign a contract and put down a 30% deposit to hold your date.
Once you're booked, we start the real work. You'll fill out a detailed questionnaire about your story, your day, what you want to see in the images. We'll have a pre-wedding consultation to talk through your location, the light, how to prepare. And then I show up on your day, fully present, and we create together.

Both ways work.
I'm flexible because your love matters more than where it happens. Some couples want to come to the mountains that shaped me. Some couples want me to fly to the location that shaped them. Both are real. Both deserve presence.
