Seattle-based elopement photographer
I am a Southern California girl who found her soul in the Pacific Northwest. I did not plan to stay — and then something about the green of it, the mountains always on the horizon, the way the seasons here ask you to slow down and pay attention, made leaving feel impossible.
I came to this work the way most meaningful things arrive. Quietly, and then all at once. What has kept me here, behind the camera, is the people as much as the places. The way a landscape holds people differently than anything else can — and the way people, when they feel truly seen, open up into something extraordinary.
My approach is photojournalistic at its heart. I am not here to direct your day so much as to witness it — moving through it with you, quietly present, picking up on the small things that no posing guide could ever anticipate. I blend into your world, hold space for whatever the day brings, and find the frames that live in between the moments you planned.
There is something that happens in those in-between moments that cannot be planned or posed or manufactured. It is already there — the exhale before the vows, the hand that reaches without thinking, the glance that says everything words cannot. My job is simply to be ready for it. To carry your day with the reverence it already deserves, and give it back to you in images that feel exactly the way it felt to live it.
I believe in the long way over the fast one. In road trips to nowhere and bare feet in the grass. In handwritten notes over materialistic purchases and film grain over filters. In mountain ranges that remind you how small and how held you are all at once. In the kind of faith that anchors you when nothing else will. In showing up — for the people you love, for the moments that matter, for the life that is already happening all around you.
I would love nothing more than to show up for yours.
